CRÓGA YOGA FOR KIDS

I have designed these classes to lead children through a  carefully structured journey, which I call the CRÓGA Yoga method. This method allows time for energising and fun social interaction and exploration of physical asanas, abalanced with times of empowering mindset modelling, reflection, creativity and relaxation. Classes are structured to include time for individual and collective practice.

Come Together

We start by warming up with fun games to connect the group, before we 'seat and greet' each other in our opening circle. 

Root & Rise

We root down through grounding exercises, using breath and mindful awareness. We rise and grow through flow and movement in our yoga poses and sequences.

Our Own Oasis

We use visualisation and relaxation techniques to tap into our own resources in our inner oasis of calm.

Glorious Gallery

We allow for personal expression and exploration through creative practice and reflection.

All Together Now

We end the class together in our closing circle, sealing the practice through affirmation and gratitude.

About me

I am an experienced primary school teacher and a yoga alliance registered yoga teacher and childrens yoga teacher. I am certified to teach meditation and I hold postgraduate diplomas in Special and Inclusive Education and Leadership of Wellbeing in Education. I also have a MA in Drama & Theatre Studies. My focus is to empower children to develop their own wellbeing and resiliency skills, through fun and safe practices. Déanaim ranganna a sholáthar i mBéarla nó i nGaeilge.
